The Obstacle Course Racing Association UK (OCRAUK) are today launching the UK’s first independent national championships for Obstacle Course Racing.
The championship final will be held in 2015 at Nuclear Fallout in Essex on 14th November with the championship waves leaving before the first wave. OCRAUK have announced that in following years the final will mve
Qualifying will achieved by placing in a top 20 spot in their gender at one of twelve qualifiers between March and September.
There will also be age group categories so in addition to the main Elite wave there will also be prizes for the fastest in age groups 18-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+. To qualify for the age groupings, competitors must finish in the top 10 in their gender and age group at any of the qualifying races.
Prize money is still to be announced but ‘big cash prize money’ is promised as well as free tickets to the OCR World Championships in 2016.
