A staple obstacle you will come across, but what’s the best way to get through? Many mistakes people make is not using the legs enough and relying on the arms to pull them through.
Use the legs to power and not the arms
Your legs are bigger and more powerful. By using them it will make you quicker and tire less easily. Use your arms to help guide you but allow your legs to power the crawl, alternate between legs and use the knees to dig into the mud.
Use your bum!
Keep your bum up (but head down) so the net is above your face, that way you can quickly move forward without it getting in the way. This will allow you to use your arms to help guide the crawl, rather than to pull the net up.
Keep the bum up to free your head from the net
If it’s a very tight net you may struggle to get the bum up - keep yourself low so you can literally slip through without getting caught up.
