The A Frame can be a tricky one. When your shoes are wet and muddy an out of place footing can lead you to injury.
Going Up
This is the simple bit. Crawl up the A Frame alternating hands and feet as you go up. Take care on slippery wood or scaffolding.
Coming Back Down
Many make the mistake of turning round when they get to the top and coming down backwards. This is not the quickest way and it also not the safest.
The safest and quickest way is to stay the way you are facing so you come back down forwards. This way you can see where you are going, see your footing and then jump when you feel comfortable.
Don’t turn around at the top, stay the way you are facing and look ahead. This is quicker and safer.
