Follow the beautiful River Teign to Fingle Bridge before casting your eyes on Castle Drogo, England’s youngest castle. Is that enough to wet your appetite for this incredible venue? You will be Trail running through some of the most fantastic scenery that Dartmoor has to offer.
This Maverick race event is not for the faint hearted – it’s our toughest route in the Original Series, but don’t be put off, it’s also one of the most beautiful. From rivers to ravines, tors to forests – this route has it all.You will feel like a true Maverick when you cross the finish line back at the Fingle Bridge Inn. With support from the National Trust and Woodland Trust, you know you’re in good hands.
Sit by the banks of the River Teign and soak up some great vibes. And tuck in to some fantastic street food from the guys at Soul & Pepper. We look forward to you becoming part of the Maverick family. Remember – the outdoors awaits…….
