Putting the socks on the first thing I noticed was how soft and comfortable they felt. These socks are much thicker than any I would normally wear but at no point during the three hours plus on the Tough Mudder course where I tested them did I feel any of the normal little stones making their way in between my toes nor did they seem to get heavy at all.
When I took them off at the end the positive results really showed as it was clear the socks had become saturated but my feet hadn’t. That pale, wrinkly look and feel you get when you spend a long time in the bath wasn’t apparent as I took my socks off.
