Before the funnies start, on a serious note I bought a hozelock portable shower off ebay for £3 (bit like a pump up garden sprayer with a small shower head) that allows me to wash off most of the mud before towelling with a homemade dryrobe made of 2 big bath towels stitched together (with holes where needed of course!).

i always hose down first in the garden and then stick in the washing machine. Sometimes just leave shoes out to dry though!

    anyone tried the STINKYbag?

I tend to wash the thick off with just a 2 litre bottle of water i bring with me and then towel off as much of the rest as i can.
I then put joggers and a hoodie on to keep warm and jump in the shower as soon as i get home.

I’ve thought about a Stnky bag but haven’t actually got one

Santriani57 …great Idea with the spray hose and Dry robe! sounds Ideal. Stinky Bags are apparently great too……we just need a people size in them!

Also invested in 2 cheap black plastic boxes from Poundland. They cost £1 each including lids and I can put ALL my muddy/wet clothing and footwear in until I get home to wash it. Beats a plastic bag which just might spring a leak.
