Mens Health Survival of the Fittest – Nottingham
Part of the ‘Survival of the Fittest’ series, the Nottingham is becoming more popular each year with over 4,000 competitors. The race will be in the same location as previous years at the Victoria Embankment next to the River Trent at Trent Bridge, just outside the city centre. This is next to the river Trent and Nott Forest FC footy ground, both of which you will encounter and battle across! Highlights on the route include Nottingham Forest Football ground and the National Watersports centre at Holme Pierrepont. Along the way, our obstacles litter your path. In 2012, expect more obstacles and tougher obstacle zones as we continue to stretch the challenge of Survival.
Along the route there’s a parkour zone, army style assault course, swimming across the river, waterslides, inflatables, crawling, climbing and much more. It’s a big event and can get busy along the course with quite a few hold ups last year. Hopefully these will be sorted out this year. If you’re looking for a PB then try to sign up asap and get in the early waves, ideally the first. Good Luck!
